What is your favorite Podcast?
I'm a big fan of the Ted Platform. I always find it interesting to listen to experts on various topics from business to self improvement, philanthropy and beyond. I also love listening to the Ask Lisa Podcast: The Psychology of Parenting
What's the last book you read and loved?
My book club recently read “Verity” by Colleen Hoover. It was a page-turner that I couldn’t put down.
How do you incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine?
For me, I find myself enjoying and waxing philosophical when I am gardening or arranging flowers. That is my therapy! I wish I could fit it into my daily routine instead of doing it sporadically.
Is there a quote that you find yourself coming back to in different situations?
Not a quote, but a word, “HOPE”. I have a rock in my desk drawer at home that has the word on it and every time I see it, I know that things will be okay. We need more HOPE in the world.
What is one thing you do to get organized everyday?
I’m an early riser and get up before my family. I enjoy coffee by myself, exercise when possible, and prepare myself for the day.
What's the most memorable place you've traveled to and why?
We visited my husband's family village in Greece. The village hosted a nighttime summer festival that was simply magical. People with family originating from the village came from all over the world including Australia, Canada, and the United States. All calling each other “cousin”. My daughter who was nine at the time said, “Mom, I didn’t know we had so many relatives around the world.” It was heartwarming. I will never forget it.
