On Tuesday, March 5th we shared coffee and conversation with Dr. Jill Baren, President of Lake Forest College. Dr. Baren shared her story from her career in Emergency Medicine to transitioning to her current leadership at LFC and how, her skills transferred and add to her new role. Additionally, conversation was shared in the topic of AI, how it is being used by students now, and also where it might head in the years to come. Bottom line, Attributes such as critical thinking, innovation, creativity and empathy are things that will make the application of AI better - and those concepts are strictly human.
